WELCOME TO SHERIDAN NEIGHBOURHOOD
Sheridan is an older neighbourhood in the City of Mississauga. This neighbourhood is bordered on the south by the Queen Elizabeth Way Highway; and on the west by Winston Churchill Boulevard. The East border is the Credit River and on the north Dundas Street W. Sheridan is a great family neighbourhood with a large number of parks for families with young children. For those you love to walk or job, here are a number of trails. Here you can walk along and enjoy nature, or you can enjoy a fun bike ride. Some of these parks include Thornlodge Park, Sheridan Park, and Meadows Park.
It is well located and connected to the City through the Mississauga Transit System. There are a number of bus routes which also services The Sheridan Centre Shopping Mall.
Homes in this neighbourhood are older and date back to the late 1960’s. Most of the homes in Sheridan are detached homes, but there are some semi-detached and town homes. Most of the homes in this area are smaller homes with 3 bedrooms. They are usually on larger lots than the newer homes. This provides an affordable price range for most families. The majority of homes in this neighbourhood are owned, but there a small number being rented.
